Baby Breathe's

I am loving the idea of using baby's breathe as centerpieces, and even for my bouquet at our wedding. I love the simplicity, and the fluffiness! Here are a couple pictures I was able to find!

I usually get lucky, and am put on standby. BUT this time I have been confirmed to show up on October 5th! Anyone else in Dade county Florida joining me?

Color Inspirations!

It's been a long time since I posted anything about my wedding planning! So here we go! My latest venture has been picking our wedding colors! Who thought it would be so difficult? There are so many color combinations that I love, that it has made a almost impossible to settle!

Both Lover and I have different opinions on colors. He likes the light, neutral colors, I like the dark, Fall colors. We are trying to find a middle ground. So of course, I've started looking endlessly on google images for some color combinations! After searching, I found some pretty cool combinations! Now if I can only decide on one!

Teal & Brown

Plum, Turqoise & Orange

Plum & Blue

Orange, Gold & Copper

Orange & Brown

Mustard & Brown

Midnight Blue & White

Fern Green & Brown

Chartreuse & Navy Blue

If you can pick a color, which color would it be?

Work in progress: Landscaping

Just a sneak peak of our landscaping! It is still a work of progress, but still wanted to share all our improvements! There is still much more to do!

Check it out:

I want:

A waffle maker! I know it sounds random! I read a lot of blogs! Some in particular are healthy/Food blogs. They display daily journals of their currents eats, and healthy menus. Most of the actually post pictures! Yes. Which brings me to the waffle maker! I love to eat the Go Lean Blueberry waffles for breakfast in the AM. Not only are they a healthy breakfast, but they are yummy!

So I was thinking..wouldn't it be a wise idea to buy a waffle maker, and make my own waffles? I can buy the wheat waffle mix, or any other mix. I can make which ever ones, for any occasion! AND it can be cost effective!!

What do you think? Yay or Nay?

Churrasco!

Dinner last night was great! We decided to grill some churrasco's on the grill! This was our first time using the grill. We had gone to Costco over the weekend, and as soon as we say the churrasco we looked at each other and were like "Yeah!"

We were going to grill on Sunday, but because of the spontaneous weather in South Florida, we opted to wait. So here it is! Our yummy dinner! Which we paired with Uncle Ben's wild rice, mushrooms, and salad! Boy was it delish!!!

Voila! Compliments to the chef :)

Garage mania!

One of the next tasks in our list is the garage! The garage will play a crucial part in the house. It's where all of Lover's tools, left over paint, and things that are still scattered in the house will go. So I am excited about this task :)

The plan was to paint the garage floor with a special paint, and then throw some type of paper sprinkle to give it a certain look (I'm not familiar with the terminology). So we first needed to pressure clean the floor to make sure there was no dirt/oil stains/paint. Then we had to wait for the floor to dry. Which took a number of hours.

Finally after drying the fun part started: The painting!! Love took care of the painting. So I decided to in the mean time take pictures! In the end, the garage painting was a success! The before and after pictures are evident of that! Some of the pictures do not do it justice!

Dinner option :)

Friday night I decided to make my Lover a yummy meal! We were in the mood of staying in, and watch Dexter (I am new to the show.) So I ventured off to the local Super Target to get some much needed things, and came cross their seafood section! I saw they had a Sale on salmon and tilapia stuffed with crab meat! So of course I caved in and decided it would be a great option for dinner!!

I decided that steamed veggies would be the best partner! So I hurried to make dinner, and the outcome was delicious! Not only did we have a yummy dinner, but we enjoyed the rest of the night doing absolutely nothing!

Here is a picture of the finished product:
